Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 May 2026

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Family Inbox. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Family Inbox lets you create a family email address and forward messages to selected recipients, such as parents, carers, grandparents, or other household members.

Your Account

  • You must provide a valid email address to sign in.
  • You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
  • You are responsible for the family members and recipient email addresses you add.
  • You must only add recipients where you have permission to forward messages to them.

Free and Pro Plans

Free accounts may include limits, such as one family email address and up to two family members. Pro accounts may unlock additional features, such as more family members or custom family email addresses.

Early access pricing and plan features may change as the service develops. If paid billing is introduced or changed, the relevant price and renewal terms will be shown before you pay.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Family Inbox to:

  • Send, receive, or forward spam, phishing, malware, or abusive content.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead other people.
  • Break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
  • Interfere with or overload the service.

Email Delivery

We aim to provide reliable forwarding, but email delivery can be affected by third-party mail providers, spam filtering, DNS, outages, incorrect recipient addresses, and other factors outside our control. We cannot guarantee that every email will be delivered instantly or successfully.

Reserved Addresses

Some email addresses may be unavailable or reserved, including operational addresses such as support, security, postmaster, abuse, and similar addresses. We may reject, rename, suspend, or reclaim addresses that are abusive, misleading, reserved, or needed to operate the service.

Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account is being misused, creates risk for the service, breaches these Terms, or may cause harm to other people or systems.

Beta and Early Access

Family Inbox may be provided as an early access or beta service. Features may change, break, or be removed as we improve the product.

Limitation of Liability

Family Inbox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, missed messages, or issues caused by third-party email providers or services outside our control.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. You can read it at privacy.html.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service develops. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
